Asian Geos Sdn Bhd is an established Malaysian company that provides geotechnical investigation and engineering, hydrographic and geophysical surveys to support the international oil & gas and marine-related industries. To compete on a global basis and provide an increased level of service depth within the local and regional markets particularly in deepwater, AG has recently teamed up with Gardline Geosciences Limited, United Kingdom which is in turn a member of the Gardline Marine Sciences group of companies (GMSL).

GMSL is a world leading marine service provider specializing in geophysical, hydrographic, environmental, oceanographic and geotechnical surveys. This had led to the formation of a larger Asian Geos (AG) Group of companies based in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The association with Gardline also provides AG Group with an immediate platform to further accelerate its growth in offshore hydrographic and geophysical survey capabilities. In line with our rapid expansion, we are looking for people who are keen to join our dynamic team to fill in the following immediate vacancies:

Geotechnical Engineer
(Jakarta Selatan)

Responsibilities
• Assist Senior Geotechnical Engineers in performing engineering analyses and preparation of site factual reports.
• Responsible for safe delivery of all raw data (i.e. drilling logs, soil logs, CPT logs etc.) from site to the data centre (Head Office).
• Assist in generating reports and in reviewing onshore laboratory tests.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s HSE, Operation, and other related policy, procedure and guidelines and ensure same to subordinates.
• Perform other duties as when required by the Company.

Requirements

• Preferably Indonesian.
• Candidate must possess Degree or Master in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• To be based in Jakarta.
• Willing to travel overseas and working in offshore facilities.
• Good command of English and communication skills.
• Team player, hardworking with pleasant personality and positive attitude.
